Our General English standard course focuses on giving the learner balanced practice in both systems (grammar, vocabulary, phonology, discourse) and skills using general topics and authentic material. The course concentrates on all the four skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing with special emphasis on fluency. The aim of these English language courses is to improve the students’ skills in all the areas of the language.
Lessons are conducted using the communicative learning approach and the blended learning approach. Therefore, our English courses are interactive and combine the use of both traditional and digital learning tools. Our lessons incorporate a range of activities for different kinds of learners in a multinational classroom. Intensive Course 30
The General English Intensive course includes the standard English course and 10 extra lessons per week. The additional 10 lessons are held in the afternoons and focus on fluency, dedicating plenty of time to confidence-building, speaking practice, error correction and feedback.
This course is ideal for learners who would like an opportunity to boost their speaking skills while interacting with other multinational students. Fluency lessons go beyond the book, helping students to speak English with ease and do any imaginable thing in an English speaking country. Our General English Standard courses are also available as mini-groups. This option is ideal for students who prefer to learn in a smaller classroom environment. Mini-group courses have a maximum of 6 students per class, therefore guaranteeing more individual attention from the teacher and the ability to learn at a slower pace.

The above fee will be charged to all students, who will require a visa application or extension. This will be added to the student’s invoice and needs to be paid prior to the student’s arrival.

A weekly fee of €30 will be added to the course fees and variable additions will be applied to the accommodation fees between these dates.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY OF THE SCHOOL
Postponements / Cancellations
You can cancel or postpone your language holiday, up until 22 days prior, and receive a refund of the 25% deposit. An administration fee of €75 will be retained.
If you cancel or postpone your language holiday, 21 days prior to arrival, a processing fee equivalent to 25% of your total invoice, will apply. If you cancel or postpone your language holiday, between 20 to 8 days before your trip, a processing fee of 50% of your total invoice will apply. If you cancel or postpone your language holiday, 7 days before the booked start date or if you fail to start your course on the booked date; then the total amount of fees on your invoice will apply. Therefore, there will be no refund.

Usually the apartments are centrally located and close to local amenities like cafés, bars, restaurants, shops and buses and all are within walking distance of Course (maximum distance 15 minutes on foot) unless specified otherwise. Electricity and water meter readings will be taken every week and charges will be divided between the number of students sharing the apartment.A Security deposit around 150 Euro is collected in cash on the first day. All our 3 star hotels are in walking distance from the school and the main shopping area of Sliema. The bus terminus is only 5 minutes away and serves routes to Valletta and St Julian’s, some of Malta’s historic sites and a selection of sandy beaches.
