The English Path IELTS Preparation courses are for students who want to take the IELTS Academic Exam. This course is designed for preparing students at intermediate level and above for the IELTS Exam. It aims to develop your English skills and improve your exam technique.
While following an objective based course structure, your teacher will work closely with you to establish what IELTS level you need to achieve and identify which techniques, exam areas and skills and you need to develop in order to reach your goal.
Every week, as part of your classes, you will study IELTS past papers, focussing on areas of the exam that you need to improve. Throughout your study at English Path your teacher and the academic team will monitor your progress and offer you feedback.

Persons applying for a visa on the basis of their studies must present the following documentation:
Completed and signed visa application form duly filled in English, together with one recent passport-sized photo.
Valid passport, showing at least three blank pages, with a validity period beyond the duration of the entire course plus three months.
Proof of sufficient financial means which are equivalent to 75% of the national minimum wage for every month of study.
Air ticket/s to the final destination incl. return trip (where applicable).
Host/hotel confirmation for the duration of the course.
Letter of sponsorship, including a copy of the identification document and contact details of sponsor/s, if the applicant is sponsored by a third party.
Proof of scholarship, if applicable.
An enrolment/ acceptance letter from the school confirming that the student will be covering a minimum of 15 contact hours per week, and a sample of his/her timetable.
Travel medical insurance with a minimum coverage of €30,000. The policy must cover the entire duration of the course and not the duration of the visa originally issued to the applicant.
Birth certificate/family book, in case of minors together with an authorisation letter & passport data from both parents or legal guardians.
Proof of payment received by the education institution related to the applicant’s course.

1. You may cancel your course and receive a full refund (minus registration fee) at any point until up to 1 (one) week before you start your course
2. You may cancel your accommodation and receive a full refund if you cancel at least 6 (six) weeks before you arrive.

Every family have their own way of life, so living in a family environment can be fun, it gives you the opportunity to practise your English and it will provide you with a cultural experience that you will remember for the rest of your life!

Shared Self-Catering Flats/Apartments Accommodation:
A flat/apartment is your best option for cost effective, independent accommodation while learning English around your Course location. You have the privacy of your own space and the opportunity to cook your own meals while enjoying the company of other students from different countries. Usually the apartments are centrally located and close to local amenities like cafés, bars, restaurants, shops and buses and all are within walking distance of Course (maximum distance 15-20 minutes on foot) unless specified otherwise. Electricity and water meter readings will be taken every week and charges will be divided between the number of students sharing the apartment.
